In Osteopathy less is more.
Our goal isn’t to force change, but to guide the body back into place where it can heal and regulate itself. We support the bodies natural ability to restore balance by working with the nervous system, arterial system, fascia & tissue.
Over-treating can overwhelm the system and interrupt this natural process.
-
Physiotherapy: Focuses on rehabilitation, improving physical function, & reducing pain through movement science. Typically treatment includes a combination of exercises, education, manual therapy, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, TENS) to restore mobility and strength.
Chiropractic: Is based on the belief that spinal alignment affects overall health through the nervous system. Emphasis is placed on correcting misalignments (subluxations). Treatments often involve high-velocity adjustments (joint manipulations) to improve alignment and function.
Both options are great to have during your healing journey.

This depends on your insurance company.
For some complex medical conditions you may require physician clearance prior to treatment. Please contact us directly if you have concerns and we can discuss them with you.

That depends on the individual, because everybody responds differently to treatment. Factors such as if the issue is recent or chronic, your bodies natural healing ability, your overall health, and what your day-to-day life looks like - including work, stress, activity levels, or even sleep - all play a role. Some people notice improvement in just a few sessions, while others may need more consistent care to create lasting changes. After your first treatment or two, I’ll have a better idea of how your body is responding and can give you a more personalized plan from there.

It depends on your goals.
Everyone responds to massage therapy differently, and the number of treatments you'll need depends on what you're hoping to achieve. If you're coming in for general relaxation or stress relief, you may feel the benefits after just one session. However, if you're seeking relief from chronic pain, tension, or injury, more consistent sessions may be needed to create lasting change.
Factors like whether the issue is recent or long-standing, your body's natural healing ability, overall health, and day-to-day lifestyle — including work, activity levels, stress, and sleep — all play a role.
After your first one or two treatments, I’ll have a better idea of how your body is responding and can recommend a personalized plan that fits your needs.
